Resumes: Skill Summaries

This can be useful if your industry uses a lot of very specific buzzwords and you can do a lot of them. In particular, the software business is a good use for this, divided into subsections on computer systems, languages, applications, fields, etc. At one time, I used a Skills Summary that looked somewhat like this:

Systems: Unix, Windows, MS-DOS, TOPS-10/20, VOS, VMS
Languages: C, Pascal, LISP, Ada, BASIC, COBOL, FORTRAN
Subfields: Databases, Graphics, OS Internals, GUI, AI
Other: Digital Electronics, Public Speaking, French

They can also be called just plain Summary if they include a bit more about you, especially if also combined with the Objective.
