MWJM, 35, 6'0", 230 pounds, hazel eyes, long wavy black hair (usually in a
ponytail these days), beard, moustache, glasses, straight. Live with my wife, Esther Nasjleti, in Vienna, VA. Work as
software engineer (but don't spout technobabble at innocents), for Call
Technologies, which has since been bought by 3Com. Light drinker, non-smoker (allergic), non-doper.
Politically, mainly "libertarian
but with a heart". Scorpio (but don't believe in astrology).
Raised in northeast Philadelphia PA. Have also lived in Pittsburgh PA,
McLean VA, Reston VA, Alexandria VA, and Roanoke VA. Have also
visited Canada, England, France, Israel, and a few Carribean islands, with
brief sidetrips into Germany, Italy, Jordan, Egypt, Lebanon, and Switzerland.
Like the color blue (mainly about a sky blue, rather than, say, the royal
blue Esther likes), Chinese and other spicy food,
movies (especially comedies, preferably on tape), most kinds of music (except
opera (just the singing), rap, and most heavy metal) but mostly classical and
classic rock, not much TV aside from movies and the Discovery and Learning
Channels (especially technology and history), warm to cool (but not very hot,
cold, or humid) weather, long rambling talks on any and all subjects with
intelligent people, and comfy clothes no matter how sloppy they look.
NOT into sports (playing nor watching), or anything else with constant loud
noise, crowds, drunks, or tobacco smoke -- such as nightclubs. Do NOT like
(let alone want!) children. NOT very religious....
Hobbies include BBSes (mainly my own Air 'n Sun
of course), medievalism (member of Society for Creative Anachronism), and firearms (no, I'm not some kind of camo-clad
bunker-hunkering commie-hunting paranoid militia lunatic, but I am a member of
the NRA). Moderate several Fidonet echoes, such as Mensa, Medieval, and some DC-area
things like MWM (Metro Washington
Mensa), DCGuns, and DCJewish. Play guitar (mostly acoustic), compose silly
filk lyrics, but can't sing worth beans....
